Understanding the COVID-19 Safe Workplace Principles 

ON the 5th May 2020 the National Cabinet met to further discuss options for easing restrictions over the coming months, and announced they’re going to be as proactive as possible in providing consistent help to businesses in preparing Australians to go back to work in a COVID-19 safe environment. 

Here’s a short video I recorded on 7th May 2020 discussing how important it is that we business owners ”Take Charge of the Change” right now, that we get proactive and we show consistency in our approach, and that our employees see and experience this first hand from us. Because that’s going to give them certainty.  Clarity and certainty in our HR processes will improve the employee experience and build engagement.

Uncertainty is one of the biggest killers of engagement. And disengaged staff is THE very very very last thing we want right now as we prepare to emerge from COVID-19.
